Tension

Tension draws inspiration from the sleek minimalism of personal devices and Lammhults’ S70 series from the late 60s. A trolley is a vehicle, so the castors are made visible and become an integral part of the design, subtly referencing skate culture and giving the piece its playful character.

Designed as a mobile side table for display, storage, or hospitality, Tension moves easily between domestic and public interiors.

The trolley is built from a welded steel tube frame with ultra slim sheet metal shelves. The visible caster system and pared back construction emphasize movement, material, and durability while keeping the form light and precise.
