Swish Vase

Friendly Request was created for Swish as part of Gustav Winsth’s role in the Swish Art Council.

The design is based on the idea that welding is an often overlooked craft requiring deep experience and control over many variables. Instead of hiding or grinding down the weld, the object highlights it as the central feature, bringing attention to the precision and finesse of the craft.

The piece is powder coated and mounted on a terrazzo base.
