Reality

by Gustav Winsth & Alexander Lervik

Reality is a collaboration between Gustav Winsth and Alexander Lervik, developed entirely within a virtual workspace. Working from their respective studios, the designers met in VR to sketch, test proportions, and refine the chair together in real time.

The project was showcased in the Älvsjö Gård exhibition during Stockholm Design Week 2024. The process could be experienced through VR binoculars suspended from the ceiling, allowing visitors to step directly into the digital design environment.

The installation revealed how VR enables collaborative design across distance while removing the need for early stages of physical prototyping.
