Acid Vase

Acid Vase was produced in a limited edition of 35 pieces for Hem X. Three welded lines form the vase’s characteristic smiley face while also defining its function.

The water rests in the curved mouth element while the two upper points support the flowers, allowing the vase to be filled easily from the open sides.

The anodized aluminum body sits on a terrazzo concrete base, providing both contrast in material and the stability needed for the top heavy form.
